Understanding and Resolving Conflict through Personality Type

The Myers-Briggs Type Inventory (MBTI) is used to develop depth awareness of self and others in terms of personality based conflict- handling motivations, strengths, weaknesses. Case applications are then made to teach the attitudes, values, and practical techniques for interpersonal harmony. MBTI knowledge is an invaluable asset for mediators and negotiators.

Persons interested in all forms of collaborative management, improved interpersonal relations and deepened self-awareness for greater harmony.

Participants will complete both the MBTI and the Thomas-Kilmann inventories and participate in exercises and case studies to practice skills.

Credit Hours

21 hours credit 

7 hours credit in the Certificate in Effective Communication - participants in this certificate may enroll in all three days of the course or just day one. Even if all three days are taken it will only count as 7 hours toward the Certificate in Effective Communication.

 

Course Fee

$769 for full 3-days or $329 if taking day one only.

If enrolled in the Practitioners Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution, the fee for this course is included in the program fee.
