This introductory core course examines principles, concepts and techniques of the interest-based approach to conflict resolution, and their applications to the stages of mediation, negotiation and facilitation.
Persons from all walks of life. Conflict resolution applies to personal, educational, community and workplace settings. This course is required for the Certificate Program.
Interactive exercises and cases are used to practice basic skills. This course prepares participants for admission to all other courses in the Program in Conflict Resolution Studies at UPEI.
