This core course examines the role of the conflict resolver in the light of ethical theories and principles as well as professional codes needed to guide practitioner conduct. While the applied ethics of mediation is the instructional focus, implications are drawn for other forms of dispute resolution including negotiation and facilitation.
Persons involved in any aspect of conflict resolution practice. This course is required for the 210 hour Certificate Program at UPEI.
Interactive exercises and cases will be used to learn the theories and how to apply them.
